He has authored six technical books, articles, and whitepapers. His work experience spans Fortune 500 companies and tech startups. He’s also built custom security products that major banks are currently using. His recent client includes JPM Chase, where he served as executive director of Blockchain security.

After discovering Satoshi’s white paper on Bitcoin, Rui started writing smart contracts in 2016. He launched an ICO in 2017, developed smart contracts for decentralized identity in 2018, created multiple ERC20 tokens and ERC721 NFTs, audited the cloud and blockchain security for the largest banks, and directed the engineering team at a decentralized stablecoin protocol.
